Travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Oxford, North Carolina! Join a supportive women’s health team and provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns during a 13-week assignment in a close-knit community with access to the greater Triangle area.
Job Details

- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- MEDITECH experience preferred, but not required
- 2 supervisory references required
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and immediate recovery
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote safe, positive birth outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Work scheduled night shifts and every other weekend as part of the unit coverage plan
- Maintain a calm, compassionate approach while delivering excellent bedside care
