Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Healthcare Professional (HCP) is needed in Asheville, North Carolina. The position involves night shift work with a focus on providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery department. The role requires working a scheduled 12-hour shift with a minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 08/18/2026. This opportunity is designed for professionals dedicated to delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid certification in labor and delivery nursing or relevant healthcare license, current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 0 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery. Education requirements include a degree in nursing or a related healthcare field. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and be willing to start on 08/18/2026.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation programs is preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The assignment includes orientation consisting of a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor. Facility dress code includes navy and white scrubs for registered nurses, galaxy blue for certified nursing assistants, purple for sitters, medium gray or pewter for respiratory therapists, and sage green for licensed practical nurses. Kronos clock instructions are provided for time management. The use of tobacco products is prohibited on all campus properties.
