• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,530 - $1,610

Job Requirements

• Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with clinical standards and state practice guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and leadership in urgent and emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
• Delegate and coordinate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
