- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,370 - $3,550
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Schedule: Days/nights rotating
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per 4-week scheduling period
- Call: None
- Float: None
- Orientation: 24-36 hours onsite

Job Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license in hand at the time of submission
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required; prior ECMO specialist experience strongly preferred
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS required
- RRT required
- ECMO experience required
- Prior charge nurse experience preferred
- Must provide 2 manager or supervisor references
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
- First-time travelers accepted with prior ECMO specialist experience at an urban or academic medical center
- Must be available to start after completing compliance requirements and onsite orientation
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for pediatric ECMO patients, with support for select adult ECMO cases as needed
- Monitor stable ECMO patients with a strong focus on safety, precision, and clinical excellence
- Care for patients with congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care
- Support one-to-one care, with occasional one-to-two assignments for pediatric circuits
- Participate in a remote monitoring and rounding care model for adult ECMO patients
- Follow established ECMO protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety guidelines
- Contribute to a high-performing, multidisciplinary pediatric critical care environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes
