• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930-$2,030
• Care Setting: Acute care Med/Surg unit
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays as needed
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6-7

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or acute care RN experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable caring for a broad adult patient population with varying acuity
• Ability to manage medical-surgical assignments with ratios up to 1:7
• Experience with telemetry nursing and heparin titration preferred
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-first mindset
• Valid unexpired driver's license required for submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and inpatient acute care patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately in EPIC
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Titrate heparin per protocol based on aPTT results when indicated
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Manage common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, AKI, urosepsis, and post-op surgical patients
• Support a positive, patient-centered environment while adapting to unit needs and floating as required
