Job Requirements

• 3+ years of recent ICU experience required
• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills in a high-acuity setting
• Friendly, flexible, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support and participate in STEMI, stroke, and conscious sedation protocols
• Assist with procedures including chest tube management, codes, and intubation support
• Use critical thinking to prioritize care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and uphold unit standards
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered critical care environment
