Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Oxford, NC

Travel RN needed for Labor & Delivery in Oxford, North Carolina. Support mothers and babies in a community hospital setting while enjoying a rewarding travel nursing opportunity near the Research Triangle.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
  • Location: Oxford, NC 27565
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
  • Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license at the time of submission; license cannot be pending
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • MEDITECH experience is a plus, but not required
  • Two supervisory references required
  • Certifications and compliance documents must be submitted with the application

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality obstetric nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe deliveries and positive patient outcomes
  • Deliver patient education and emotional support throughout the birthing process
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting in accordance with facility standards
  • Work collaboratively with the unit team while supporting safe and efficient patient flow
