Travel RN needed for Labor & Delivery in Oxford, North Carolina. Support mothers and babies in a community hospital setting while enjoying a rewarding travel nursing opportunity near the Research Triangle.
Job Details
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery / OB Nursing
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Location: Oxford, NC 27565
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Orientation: 16 hours
Job Requirements
- Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license at the time of submission; license cannot be pending
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- MEDITECH experience is a plus, but not required
- Two supervisory references required
- Certifications and compliance documents must be submitted with the application
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe deliveries and positive patient outcomes
- Deliver patient education and emotional support throughout the birthing process
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting in accordance with facility standards
- Work collaboratively with the unit team while supporting safe and efficient patient flow
