• Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating: Rotation-based floating as needed

• Unit Size: 26 beds
• Patient Ratio: 6:1

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or orthopedic nursing experience required
• Strong orthopedic background preferred
• Experience with post-operative care for orthopedic and spine patients
• Excellent compassion, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to work night shift schedules and weekend coverage
• Experience with electronic health record documentation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to Med/Surg patients with orthopedic and spine needs
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and support recovery plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and support team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record using Meditech
• Support patient safety, mobility, and post-surgical recovery initiatives
• Deliver compassionate patient care while promoting a positive patient experience
• Adapt to unit needs, including rotation floating and scheduled weekend coverage
