- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630

- Unit Focus: Ortho/Spine Med-Surg
- Patient Ratio: 6:1
- Schedule Notes: 4 weekend shifts per schedule; rotating floating as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience
- Strong compassion, teamwork, and communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced orthopedic and spine care environment
- Ability to manage a 6:1 patient ratio and maintain high patient experience standards
- Experience with electronic documentation preferred; Meditech experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg patients recovering from knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries
- Monitor patient status, assess recovery progress, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and carry out physician-ordered treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient care in the Meditech system
- Support mobility, comfort, and recovery using unit equipment and standard orthopedic tools
- Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered outcomes
- Maintain professionalism while adapting to rotating float assignments and weekend coverage
