This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong teamwork, compassionate care, and a steady patient flow. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Registered Nurse
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule Note: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Setting: Med/Surg Orthopedic/Spine Unit
- Location: Chattanooga, TN
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Strong orthopedic nursing background preferred
- Experience caring for post-surgical orthopedic and spine patients
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable approach to patient care
- Ability to work rotating floating assignments as needed
- Comfortable using Meditech documentation systems
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care to adult Med/Surg patients recovering from orthopedic and spine procedures
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support recovery for knee and hip replacement patients and multi-level spine surgery patients
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with nurses, techs, and unit support staff to promote safe, efficient care
- Follow unit guidelines, safety protocols, and best practices for patient experience
- Adapt to rotating float needs and contribute positively to a dependable team environment
