- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month
- On-Call Requirement: Yes, approximately 1 shift per week

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2.5 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse license active in Illinois
- BLS required
- CNOR preferred
- Previous Level I trauma experience required
- General OR and trauma experience required
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Must be comfortable working within a broad surgical case mix
- Travel nursing experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- No first-time travelers accepted
Responsibilities
- Provide circulating RN support for a wide variety of surgical cases
- Work collaboratively across multiple service lines except cardiovascular surgery
- Support general surgery, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, transplant, urology, and emergency response cases
- Assist with complex procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, spine cases, craniotomies, fractures, microvascular free flap cases, and organ donation cases
- Maintain safe, efficient operating room workflow while following universal protocol and infection control standards
- Support equipment and instrumentation needs, including electrosurgical units, fiber optic systems, and Hana tables
- Respond to emergency situations including code response, fire safety, latex allergy precautions, and malignant hyperthermia protocols
- Ensure accurate specimen handling, blood product administration, radiation safety, and urinary catheterization procedures
- Float within scope as needed to support facility needs
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled
