Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio at time of submission
• BSN required
• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience caring for pediatric patients with trachs and vents in the home
• PICU experience required
• At least 1 year of related clinical experience is strongly preferred; 6 months in home health or an acute care setting is required
• Experience with pediatrics and/or developmental delays preferred
• Experience with technology-dependent and medically complex patients preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar software

Pediatric Home Health Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in home settings
• Manage tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients safely and confidently
• Support children across a range of ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Communicate clearly with families and care team members to coordinate care
• Document care accurately and maintain organized clinical records
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes comfort, safety, and stability
• Adapt quickly to the unique needs of medically complex home care patients
