• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Unit Type: 41-bed Medical Telemetry Unit
• Charting System: EPIC
• Floating: Required as needed to applicable units
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a traveler
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips confidently
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and cardiac drips
• Familiarity with TR bands and high-flow oxygen
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, attentive care to medical telemetry patients in a busy inpatient hospital setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and other telemetry-related treatments
• Interpret telemetry strips and escalate concerns when necessary
• Care for a diverse patient population, including cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use, GU, and GI patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Float to other applicable units when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit workflows and protocols
• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care throughout the night shift
