• Position: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Setting: 24-bed critical access hospital
• Location: Viroqua, Wisconsin
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule: Every weekend
• On-Call: No call

Job Requirements

• Experience with adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients preferred
• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Orthopedic, cardiac, and Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work every weekend night shift reliably

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to Med/Surg adult and pediatric patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and provider orders
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment
