Job Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of recent registered nurse experience preferred; emergency department nursing experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in the Emergency Room
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including history, vital signs, labs, and diagnostic data
- Develop and implement care plans in coordination with the physician and interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and support safe, effective patient care in a high-acuity setting
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support a culture of patient safety, professionalism, and teamwork
