• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: York, Maine 03909
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 3 twelve-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: Variable rotating shifts, typically 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• Call: No call
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Start Date: August 10, 2026

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Maine
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Preceptor experience preferred
• Ability to adapt to variable shift needs based on census

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and timely intervention for urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver safe, accurate medication administration and treatment support
• Assist with charge responsibilities as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient outcomes
