- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Location: York, Maine 03909
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; 3 twelve-hour shifts
- Shift Hours: Variable rotating shifts, typically 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
- Call: No call
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
Emergency Room RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Maine
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Preceptor experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to variable shift needs based on census
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and timely intervention for urgent and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support efficient patient flow
- Deliver safe, accurate medication administration and treatment support
- Assist with charge responsibilities as needed
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient outcomes
