Job Details
- Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Tucson, AZ 85741
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- On-Call: 7-9 call shifts per month, including one weekend; 30-minute response time for STEMI call
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
- Float: May float to a nearby campus as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required; Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
- Experience circulating and monitoring in a procedural or interventional setting
- Familiarity with STEMI cases and high-risk equipment such as Impella, IABP, and Anari preferred
- Electrophysiology (EP) and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, team-oriented cardiovascular care environment
- Willingness to participate in call and respond within the required timeframe
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Circulate and monitor patients throughout Cath Lab cases
- Support STEMI response and other urgent cardiac interventions
- Assist with specialized cardiac equipment and technology
- Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the procedural team to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain readiness for on-call cases and urgent response needs
- Float as needed to support operational needs within the healthcare system
