• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, based on unit needs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,770 - $1,870
• Setting: Adult cardiac telemetry with a focus on monitored, high-acuity care
• Floating: Required to other units or facilities as needed

Job Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience required
• 1+ year of recent telemetry, progressive care, or related acute care experience required
• 2 years of field experience preferred
• Strong skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to adapt quickly, support floating, and work in a team-oriented environment
• First-time travelers may be considered based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adults with life-threatening multisystem and cardiac conditions
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and assess patients for changes in condition
• Administer and monitor vasoactive infusions, antiarrhythmic therapy, anticoagulation, and thrombolytic therapy
• Perform and assist with defibrillation/cardioversion, thoracentesis, EKG monitoring, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Recognize and respond to symptoms related to diagnoses such as sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Support unit flow by floating to appropriate units when needed and when competencies are met
