- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
- Orientation: Monday start orientation
- Setting: Adult critical care / step-down level acuity
Job Requirements
- Active South Carolina RN license or compact/multistate RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
- At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required
- Prior ICU or intermediate care experience required
- Experience caring for patients with acuity of 1:3 or higher required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ventilator experience required
- Strong Epic EMR experience preferred, with at least 1 year required
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and vasoactive drip titration required
- Must be comfortable floating to other qualified nursing units as needed
- Must be able to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult ICU and intermediate ICU patients
- Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition every 1-2 hours as needed
- Manage cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive medications safely and effectively
- Care for ventilated patients and support complex respiratory needs in the ICU
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Respond to admissions, transfers, and escalations from rapid response teams
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Epic EMR system
- Support safe patient mobility, repositioning, and clinical equipment use
- Float to appropriate units or campuses based on staffing needs and demonstrated competencies
