Job Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license or compact/multistate RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment required
• Prior ICU or intermediate care experience required
• Experience caring for patients with acuity of 1:3 or higher required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ventilator experience required
• Strong Epic EMR experience preferred, with at least 1 year required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and vasoactive drip titration required
• Must be comfortable floating to other qualified nursing units as needed
• Must be able to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult ICU and intermediate ICU patients
• Monitor patient status closely and respond to changes in condition every 1-2 hours as needed
• Manage cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive medications safely and effectively
• Care for ventilated patients and support complex respiratory needs in the ICU
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Respond to admissions, transfers, and escalations from rapid response teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Epic EMR system
• Support safe patient mobility, repositioning, and clinical equipment use
• Float to appropriate units or campuses based on staffing needs and demonstrated competencies
