Job Details
- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse

- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5, subject to change
- Clinical Setting: Adult inpatient med/surg with telemetry
- Travel Requirement: Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
Job Requirements
- Current RN license in Ohio or compact licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Dysrhythmia exam required
- Medical-surgical and telemetry experience preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process
- Perform complete patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Support telemetry monitoring, drips, oxygen therapy, and other common med/surg treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and compassionate bedside care
