• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5, subject to change
• Clinical Setting: Adult inpatient med/surg with telemetry
• Travel Requirement: Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact licensure
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Medical-surgical and telemetry experience preferred
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process
• Perform complete patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Support telemetry monitoring, drips, oxygen therapy, and other common med/surg treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and compassionate bedside care
