Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Join a high-energy obstetric and Family Birth Place team providing compassionate, evidence-based care in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, OR, and PACU settings.
Job Details
- Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
- Setting: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Family Birth Place
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Shift Schedule: Night shift with rotating weekends and call rotation
- Start Date: 08/25/2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650 - $2,790
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current Colorado RN license or compact RN license valid in Colorado
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP and STABLE certifications required
- Prior RN charge experience required
- Experience with Labor & Delivery, postpartum, OR, and PACU preferred
- Ability to work rotating weekends and scheduled call
- Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Support couplet care in a fast-paced obstetric and maternity nursing environment
- Assist with deliveries and collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team to promote positive birth outcomes
- Care for babies 32 weeks gestation and up, following unit protocols and best practices
- Respond to changing patient needs with sound clinical judgment and teamwork
- Serve in a charge nurse-capable role when assigned
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while supporting a busy and growing women’s health unit
