• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130

• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/31/2026
• Floating: Required to postpartum or nursery as needed
• Call: No call required

Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Experience with antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal care
• Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills
• Comfortable floating to postpartum or nursery
• Cerner experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout the obstetrical continuum
• Monitor and support patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases of care
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse leaders, and the care team to anticipate patient needs and promote safe deliveries
• Manage a patient assignment in a 6-bed LDR unit with a typical ratio of 1:1 or 2:1
• Float to postpartum or nursery when needed to support unit coverage and patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies and uphold nursing practice standards
• Provide leadership, direction, and supervision as appropriate for assigned personnel
