This 13-week Med/Surg RN assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who values collaboration, patient-centered care, and the opportunity to work in a welcoming college town with access to outdoor recreation.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
- Employment Type: Travel RN

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Schedule: Every other weekend
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing, orthopedic care, or adult inpatient care preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment
- Calm, compassionate, and tactful approach when caring for acutely ill patients
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Deliver safe, effective care to adult med-surg and orthopedic patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Support the Unit Director/Manager and collaborate with charge nurses, supervisors, and clinical leadership as needed
- Promote clear communication and coordination among patients, families, and staff
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a busy medical-surgical setting
