Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing, orthopedic care, or adult inpatient care preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment
• Calm, compassionate, and tactful approach when caring for acutely ill patients

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver safe, effective care to adult med-surg and orthopedic patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Support the Unit Director/Manager and collaborate with charge nurses, supervisors, and clinical leadership as needed
• Promote clear communication and coordination among patients, families, and staff
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a busy medical-surgical setting
