• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities based on skill set and department needs
• Charting System: Epic experience required
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 - $1,950

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience required
• Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to safely manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5
• Must have reliable transportation for the assignment
• Must be willing to float as needed within scope of practice

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Interpret and manage telemetry monitoring as a core responsibility
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to patient plans of care
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Support safe patient mobility, discharge preparation, and care coordination
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Float to other units or nearby facilities when needed to meet patient care demands
