Immediate opening for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Rockford, IL. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the chance to join a fast-paced emergency room team in Northwest Illinois and make an immediate impact in a high-acuity clinical setting.

- Rotation: Weekend and holiday rotation required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
Job Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- TNCC or TNS required at time of submission
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ED environment
- Perform thorough patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
- Develop and carry out individualized care plans based on patient needs and provider orders
- Document patient care accurately and consistently according to standards of practice
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Use clinical judgment to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
- Participate in performance improvement, unit practice activities, and peer review
- Serve as a clinical resource through expertise in emergency room nursing and professional practice
