Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,100 - $2,210
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 8/24/2026
• Shift Pattern: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Diploma, ASN, or BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage electronic medical documentation
• Physical ability to meet the demands of a critical care nursing role

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients with a patient-centered approach
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients throughout the care process
• Monitor telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and electronic charting
• Enter and interpret computerized patient information and clinical data
• Follow nursing department policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives as needed
