Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience in acute care, hospital nursing, or medical-surgical units preferred
• Ability to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient setting
• Willingness to complete required onboarding and competency items

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients across varying acuity levels
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and communicate updates to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support patient recovery
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold patient safety, quality, and infection control standards
• Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
