Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry / Acute Care
• Assignment Length: 20 weeks, with a 13-week option currently accepted
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Travel Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

Job Requirements

• 18 months of combined recent permanent experience in the specialty
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required; travel nurse experience is accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation with a passing score
• Availability to work at least every other holiday
• One year of recent oncology/chemotherapy administration experience is preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates
• Comfort with a rotating schedule and potential floating to similar patient care units

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult med/surg telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and support treatment plans in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Support patient education, documentation, and care coordination
• Float to similar units as needed to care for the same patient population
• Maintain flexibility to meet operational needs, including rotating day and night shifts
