• Floating: Required
• Charge Nurse: Highly preferred
• EMR: Epic experience preferred

Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Some pediatric ED experience required
• Travel nurse experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand
• Skills checklist matching Emergency Department specialty
• Resume documenting relevant ER and travel nursing experience
• Driver's license with address matching demographics
• Nursys license verification with all active RN licenses
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-moving emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the Emergency Department
• Respond to a wide range of emergency medicine conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Support triage, acute care, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric patient needs as assigned
• Use critical care tools and specialty equipment such as rapid infusers and Arctic Sun systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the broader healthcare team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Adapt to floating assignments and changing patient acuity with confidence and professionalism
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold strong clinical standards in a busy ED setting
