- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,100

- Patient Population: Newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Float Requirements: Yes
- Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Job Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- Some pediatric experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC certification in hand required
- NIHSS certification
- Epic EMR experience required
- Updated resume and completed skills checklist matching specialty
- Valid driver’s license with matching demographic information
- Nursys license verification with active RN licenses
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department environment
- Triage and prioritize patients presenting with acute and complex conditions
- Care for patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Support care for patients across all age groups, from newborns through geriatrics
- Use emergency specialty equipment as needed, including rapid infusors and Arctic Sun
- Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the ED care team
- Float when needed and adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
