• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,100

• Charge Capability: Highly preferred

Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Some pediatric experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC certification in hand required
• NIHSS certification
• Epic EMR experience required
• Updated resume and completed skills checklist matching specialty
• Valid driver’s license with matching demographic information
• Nursys license verification with active RN licenses

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Department environment
• Triage and prioritize patients presenting with acute and complex conditions
• Care for patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Support care for patients across all age groups, from newborns through geriatrics
• Use emergency specialty equipment as needed, including rapid infusors and Arctic Sun
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the ED care team
• Float when needed and adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
