Overview

This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers 12-hour night shifts in a well-established ICU environment. It is a strong fit for a skilled ICU RN who is comfortable floating to Stepdown/PCU as needed and ready to support a collaborative clinical team.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Active Missouri RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with CTS and neuro patients preferred
• TNCC preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center preferred
• New graduates will not be considered
• Comfortable learning and using Altera Sunrise EMR

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Provide care for ICU patients, including those with complex neurological and thoracic surgery needs
• Float to Stepdown/PCU when assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical best practices
• Participate in orientation and unit-based training to ensure a smooth transition into the role
