• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290
• Start Date: 8/10/2026

Job Requirements

• Active RN license with eligibility to work in Connecticut
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NVCIT certification, or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a busy Emergency Department with behavioral health patients
• Cerner charting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient care in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, monitor, and respond to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Support patient care in a 24-bed ED, including a 5-bed locked behavioral health unit
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote timely treatment and positive outcomes
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate documentation and support smooth patient flow during night shifts
• Provide patient education and contribute to a positive patient experience
