Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Recent experience in a critical care or ICU setting strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Ability to support safe floating to qualified units as needed
• Strong critical thinking skills and comfort caring for high-acuity patients

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to adult ICU and LTAC patients
• Monitor complex patient conditions and respond to changes in status quickly and effectively
• Manage ventilator support, weaning, tracheostomy care, and respiratory therapies as indicated
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and maintain IV and central line care
• Perform wound care, infection prevention measures, and ongoing patient assessments
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, radiology, and other support teams
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with unit protocols
• Float to qualified units when needed based on census and staffing demands
• Support a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment for every patient
