• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana 46237
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend
• Floating: May be required to other inpatient areas when census is low
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong comprehensive assessment skills
• Experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients
• Comfort working with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced critical care environment
• Team-oriented, flexible, and empathetic approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine disorders, substance use disorders, and psychiatric disorders
• Provide care for mechanically ventilated patients and support advanced monitoring needs
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient unit workflow
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed based on unit census
