• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month

• Patient Ratio: Up to 1:6
• Electronic Health Record: Meditech / GE Centricity

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Experience in postpartum, Mother/Baby, or maternity nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor patient and infant conditions and report changes promptly
• Support recovery, education, and discharge planning for new families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Deliver high-quality bedside nursing care while following unit protocols and safety standards
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and follow-up needs
