• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing assignment

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890
• Unit Setting: 8-bed special care nursery with a 1:2 to 1:3 patient ratio
• EHR: Meditech / GE Centricity
• Float Requirement: Mother/Baby Postpartum as needed

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Level II nursery or higher NICU experience
• Current RN licensure
• Required certifications: NRP, STABLE, and BLS
• Ability to attend deliveries and initiate/run NRP resuscitation
• Experience caring for neonates, including full-term, early-term, and pre-term infants
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care and neonatal nursing environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Neonatal Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to newborns in a Level 2 special care nursery
• Monitor and support neonates with conditions such as NAS/NOWS, TTN, IV antibiotic therapy, Bubble CPAP, and OG/NG feeds
• Assist with deliveries and respond quickly to newborn stabilization needs
• Initiate and manage neonatal resuscitation protocols as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver safe, family-centered patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EHR
• Float to Mother/Baby Postpartum when requested and appropriate
