Description
🚨 Travel Acute Care RN | 13-Week Contract
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong acute care background to join a patient-centered healthcare team.

Requirements:
✅ Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
✅ Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
✅ AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required
✅ Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical outcomes
- Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and discharge
- Delegate appropriately and support nursing assistants and other team members
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality care, and evidence-based practice
- Mentor and precept staff while promoting teamwork and professional development

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
