Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Night Shift Job in Hopewell, VA

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Strong IV skills with both adult and pediatric patients
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Preferred: Trauma experience and TNCC certification
• Preferred: Meditech experience
• Ability to adapt quickly, stay organized, and work effectively on a team in a fast-paced emergency department

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Perform IV insertions, EKGs, and other core ER procedures
• Assist with cardioversion, central line placements, cardiac arrest response, and pacemaker interrogation
• Support Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols with urgency and accuracy
• Prepare suture and abscess setups and assist with additional emergency interventions as needed
• Deliver respectful, accountable, and compassionate patient care
• Potentially float to a freestanding emergency department approximately 15 minutes away
