Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Pediatric GI or GI nursing experience required
• Previous experience in ambulatory nursing required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with outpatient pediatric care and phone triage preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Comfortable with travel assignment expectations and floating as needed within the system

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for pediatric GI patients in an outpatient setting
• Perform phone triage and support care coordination for families and patients
• Assist with inbasket work and electronic health record documentation in Epic
• Support GI clinic duties, including patient education and follow-up communication
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Prepare patients for GI procedures and help manage outpatient treatment workflows
• Float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities nearby as needed
• Maintain accurate records and deliver compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families
