Job Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, busy hospital or emergency department setting
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience required
• Ability to work evening shifts in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and bedside nursing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing needs in the ER
• Support pediatric and adult patients with professionalism, compassion, and clinical expertise
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote safe outcomes
• Administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while delivering excellent patient care
