Job Requirements
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, busy hospital or emergency department setting
- Pediatric emergency nursing experience required
- Ability to work evening shifts in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and bedside nursing skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and respond quickly to changing needs in the ER
- Support pediatric and adult patients with professionalism, compassion, and clinical expertise
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote safe outcomes
- Administer treatments, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while delivering excellent patient care
