Overview

This Med/Surg Registered Nurse position is a strong fit for an adaptable RN with experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients. You’ll work 12-hour shifts with a schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call coverage. Travel nurses in this role may also support flu immunization clinics and float to other qualified areas when needed.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the appropriate state
• Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience providing care to both adult and pediatric patients
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call shifts
• Ability to float to other qualified areas as needed
• Strong adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric Med/Surg patients
• Maintain excellent patient ratios while delivering attentive bedside care
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to clinical standards
• Support additional areas such as flu immunization clinics when assigned
• Float to other departments or assist with task-oriented duties when qualified
• Participate in staff meetings and maintain professional accountability throughout the assignment
• Adapt to variable scheduling needs while helping ensure smooth unit operations
