• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Adult Medical/Surgical ICU in a Level III Trauma Center
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Salem, MA 01970
• Start Date: 10/04/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
• Schedule: Nights with every other weekend; floating required
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of adult ICU nursing experience required
• 2+ years of continuous experience in one location, preferably in a MICU
• Ability to read telemetry strips and recognize rhythm changes
• Telemetry competency required
• Experience floating to Med/Surg units preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort caring for high-acuity patients

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled critical care nursing to adult ICU patients with complex medical conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Care for patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, GI bleed, DKA, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Collaborate with attendings, residents, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and timely interventions in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Float to Med/Surg units as needed and adapt to varying patient assignments
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain excellent clinical standards
