• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Schedule: Nights with every other weekend commitment; floating required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of continuous Adult ICU experience, preferably in a MICU
• Strong telemetry skills with the ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Experience providing care to high-acuity adult patients in an ICU or critical care setting
• Comfort floating to medical-surgical units when needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 20-bed MICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changing patient conditions in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Care for patients with diagnoses including sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, GI bleed, cardiac arrest, overdose, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock
• Collaborate closely with attendings, residents, and interdisciplinary ICU team members available 24/7
• Float to med-surg areas as assigned and manage patient care safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Support safe staffing ratios and deliver patient-centered care with professionalism and urgency
