Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200-$2,320
• Setting: Pediatric Operating Room
• Location: Chicago, IL 60637
• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• End Date: 11/30/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Orientation: 8 hours
• On-Call: Nights and weekends, 6-12 hour shifts approximately every six weeks

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Current Registered Nurse credential required
• 1+ year of operating room RN experience preferred; candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Ability to scrub and circulate in the operating room
• Updated Nursys report required at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality pediatric nursing care in the operating room
• Scrub and circulate for surgical procedures with accuracy and professionalism
• Support surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team throughout each case
• Maintain a calm, efficient workflow in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage for nights and weekends
• Contribute to excellent patient outcomes through teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
