• Schedule: Rotation includes 2x8-hour shifts and 2x12-hour shifts with varied start times
• Call Requirement: Up to 3 call shifts in 6 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 — convenient to Boston, with access to shopping, dining, parks, and suburban amenities

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience or similar post-operative recovery experience preferred
• Background in acute care, perioperative nursing, or post-anesthesia recovery preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts, night shift schedules, and call expectations
• Comfort working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Completion of required onboarding, documentation, and competency items

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality PACU nursing care to post-anesthesia patients
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall post-operative recovery
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and professionalism
• Administer medications and interventions according to clinical protocols and nursing standards
• Communicate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, and recovery room teams throughout patient care
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Support patient flow and contribute to a positive recovery experience in the PACU
