• Start Date: 8/31/2026
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend and major holidays required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults

Job Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Experience with conscious sedation required
• BLS and ACLS required
• CPI/de-escalation training required
• EPIC experience preferred
• PALS not required for this adult ED role, but is a plus
• Ability to pass an EKG exam at orientation
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards
• Prioritize care for patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families during stressful and unpredictable situations
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, and efficient care coordination throughout the department
• Assist with triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with team members across shifts
• Adapt quickly to changing patient volume and acuity in a busy ED setting
