Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg, medical-surgical nursing, or acute care experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented acute care environment
• Experience caring for diverse adult medical-surgical patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute medicine setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Promote patient education, comfort, and recovery throughout the care process
