Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience required; 1-2 years of urology clinic experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Foley and suprapubic catheter changes, as well as voiding trials
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy outpatient and clinical support environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient urology setting
  • Assist with patient intake, chart review, vital signs, and follow-up coordination
  • Perform or support catheter care, catheter changes, and voiding trials
  • Educate patients on procedures, medications, and follow-up care
  • Document accurately in Epic and help maintain efficient clinic flow
  • Collaborate with the care team to support timely, compassionate patient care
  • Handle common clinic tasks such as specimen management, telephone triage, and patient teaching as needed
