Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position in Danbury, CT, requiring a CT or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hospital-based Med/Surg Oncology unit
• 3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• Floating to other medical/surgical units may be required

Requirements

• Active CT RN license (or compact license) required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; only AHA-issued certifications are accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same specialty
• Chemotherapy Administration Certification preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced rate
• Candidates with previous work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to an extended review process to determine eligibility
• Certifications expiring during the assignment period should have a renewal receipt or scheduled course dates available
• Timekeeping is managed through the Kronos system
