Job Requirements

• Active Washington RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, PCU, or telemetry nursing experience
• Experience working confidently across Med/Surg and PCU settings with flexibility to float as needed
• Strong understanding of patient safety, infection control, and standard precautions
• Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot equipment used in PCU, telemetry, and Med/Surg areas
• Excellent documentation, communication, and shift handoff skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and PCU patients in an acute care setting
• Educate patients and families using clear, effective teaching methods
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Follow safety protocols, restraint policies, and isolation procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and charge details accurately
• Report critical lab values and communicate patient updates in a timely manner
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, supplies, and patient care areas
• Collaborate with the care team to support smooth, efficient patient care
